Infographic Research

Textual Research:

1. Qualitative data: typically descriptive data and as such is harder to analyze than quantitative data. Quantitative data: is data expressing a certain quantity, amount or range. Usually, there are measurement units associated with the data, e.g. meters, in the case of the height of a person.

2. Infographic: Infographics are generally created for the purpose of telling or explaining a specific story, and will usually be intended for a specific audience, thus Infographics are subjective. Data Visualization: Data Visualization can be both an item, and a discipline. The information will be quantifiable, and therefore in the form of numbers. Data Visualizations should be objective and the entire data set may very well be presented without editing.

3. The main methods of presenting numerical data are through graphs, tables and text incorporation.
